About us
Techwyzeup is a Spirit driven initiative that provides affordable technical support and tutoring services to senior citizens and small businesses in the Helderberg region, while empowering the unemployed youth through skills development and income opportunities. By leveraging a network of trained youth tutors, Techwyzeup offers hands-on IT assistance on mobile devices, computers, televisions, Wifi networks and computer networks.

Our mission is grounded in our altruistic-centred philosophy - addressing the massive youth unemployment scourge in the Helderberg while helping to build stronger relationships between the generations and in turn fostering a renewed and stronger sense of community amongst our fellow townspeople.
Many young adults possess valuable technical skills but lack the opportunities to apply them. South Africa has a high overall unemployment rate, but young people (ages 15-34) are disproportionately affected, with unemployment rates reaching 55%. The combination of high unemployment and slow economic growth means that young people often face limited opportunities for career advancement and upward mobility. This creates a vast talent pool of young individuals willing to join Techwyzeup and make a success of our business and their lives.
Our initiative brings these young, unemployed, tech savvy individuals and connects them with people and small businesses in need of patient and compasionate technical assistance and in turn, our clients receive high quality technical support – increasing their efficiency and productivity.
Our pricing model works by giving 50% of the charged hourly rate directly to the tutor – inspiring him/her to success while providing a financial platform to grow and triumph in life.
